Was I possibly the only person in the world to be riding these wheels this morning??
Super pumped about the Stealth 6 in gloss silver. I've been looking for awhile for a wheel that has the proper offset to get rid of my spacers, but couldn't find one that was tasteful/conservative. Method Standards were close but a touch too shiney for me. Almost got the Stealth 6 in gunmetal but didn't want the dark wheels on my black 4Runner. Vin mentioned they'd be doing gloss silver like a year ago, so I decided to wait. Glad I did!
Pictures don't at all do them justice, especially with a cell phone camera in bad light, glamour shots will have to come this summer. But in case it helps anyone.. these are the perfect wheel, in my opinion, for a classic, conservative look!
(and no they're not scratched, just gotta wipe off some of the lube or whatever they use to mount the tire)
edit to remove super crappy pictures with bad glare to only a somewhat crappy picture that at least shows the finish a little better:

Any pictures of these on a Grey 4runner by chance? or on a vehicle at all for that matter? I didn't see any mounted pictures of the gloss black in the whole thread

Sorry, but I do not have that color available to show you. For whatever reason, customers who purchase gloss black, don't tend to send in photos so we don't have much to showcase.

After months of searching, I finally found and just bought an amazing stock '99 SR5 4WD 4Runner (YAY!) and I'd like to fit a set of Gloss Silver Stealth 6's with 265/70R17 Cooper A/TW tires. As stock tires are 265/70R16, a true +1 would be 265/65R17, yet not many tire offerings available in that size.
I've read many posts that maintain the best size for 3rd gen's w/ no or slight lift is 265/75R16. Tire size I'm looking at is +1 of this & only one measly inch larger in diameter (31.6" vs. 30.6") than stock. It looks like it should fit just fine... I can measure and furnish hub to fender arch dims if needed.
To me the wildcard is the offset difference from the stock 16" wheels. I'm not sure how this complicates the fit in my case.
While there is a pic or two of a 3rd gen w/ Stealth 6 17's in this thread, there's not any discussion of fitment. My 4Runner isn't the Highlander trim version; but don't the '99 and earlier 3rd gens have a bit taller springs anyway? I'm sure I could opt for the tall Highlander springs or OME components if needed to make this work; but since I'll be buying 5x tires & wheels, I don't really want to add that cost out of the gate. I'd rather spend that money on the 231 mm Tundra caliper upgrade, which these wheels will accommodate, correct?
Bottom line is I'll probably take the plunge regardless - these wheels are just too damn fine to pass up. I only wish to know whether I'll have to also immediately invest in lift components, wheel spacers, etc. Thanks in advance for your insight. You can run the 265/70/17 on a 3rd gen 4Runner without much issue. As long as the mud flaps are removed and you're willing to trim some plastic, you'll be good to go. Once you step above this tire size is when you'll really need to add a lift. Spacers are definitely not needed unless you want the wheels to poke out aggressively.

Fitment questions- 275/70/17s with NO lift; Can it be done?
So I'm trying to narrow down what wheels I want to mount on my 2015 SR5 and I have some concerns with fitment.
I'm going to run BFG K02 275/70/17 tires with NO lift (I'll eventually do a 2.5" lift).
Is anyone running these wheels with 275/70/17s and stock suspension?? If so, how bad is the rubbing? Can it be resolved with moving the fender liner and removing mudflaps? Or will i still need to lift it too?
Sorry for the questions, but i really love these wheels and hope that they will work without issues.
