SE brakes bigger than others?

I thought I remembered hearing that the brakes that come on the Sport Edition are bigger than the ones that come on the SR5. Is there any truth to that? I can't find any specs on the brake size nor the option of bigger brakes on SE's. Just curious if anyone knew about that or am I mistaken.

The info above is for 2009, but it is the same throughout the 4th gen years. SR5 front brakes are 12.6 while SE brakes are 13.3.

I'm sure the bigger one's are nice , but the ones on the SR5 I'M sure work just as well . I personally would not care which size I had. Actually if I had the smaller brakes off the sr5 I could put 16's on .

Exactly...personal taste. The FJ does plenty find with the smaller front brakes.

Doesn't the LIMITED have the smaller brakes too? I think so.

I thought it did also.

Probably cheaper replacing rotors , calipers , pads ect... just a thought.
