SE Suspension vs SR5

What are the differences in the SE and SR5. I know about the exterior mods, but what about suspension and other stuff? I see a fluid line connected to the bottom of my struts on my SE. I never noticed that on my last SR5. More information would be helpful. Thanks

Just found this.

XREAS stands for "Cross Linked Relative Absorber System".
X-REAS was designed to help improve vehicle on-road handling performance. This technology links each of the vehicle's shocks to it's diagonal counterpart via a gas hydraulic chamber. During cornering or when traveling over bumpy surfaces, the gas hydrauilc chamber acts like a bank "borrowing" fluid from the cross-linked shock bearing the least amount of force and "loaning" it to the shock sustaining the greatest amount of force. This exchange of fluid helps the 4Runners wheels maintain contact with the driving surface and helps lessen vehicle body sway, pitch and roll, making for a more comfortable ride.

Fluid transfer between shocks is useless. That sounds like they decided to create a new "feature"....

If you want your vehicle to corner well and not roll as much, then you need to install a stiffer anti-sway bar. Shocks are simply there to dampen the impact of bumps in the road.

SE front brakes are 13.3". SR5's are 12.6".

Maybe, but the XREAS certainly performs as advertized and is noticeably better than the SR5 suspension. It reduces roll when cornering without adding stiffness to ride.

Are the anti-sway bars on both vehicles the same? Adding a stiffer sway bar would not make the ride any stiffer....just reduce body roll.
