seafoam & v8

I was just wondering for the v8 runners if you used seafoam how much improvement you saw, ie mpg, smoothness, etc. Also I want to make sure I'm using the right line when i have the seafoam sucked into the intake manifold... anyone have a pic of it?

why do it on such a new vehicle? if you don't have a reason to be doing this, the potential upside is minor compared to the potential downside, in my opinion.

I dont use it but a lot of people swear by it. I have thought about it, though. I think the people that use it generally do it about every 30,000 miles.

I have used it on a Rodeo with about 80K on it. Good stuff.
You basically disconnect the big vacuum hose from the brake booster. When disconnected, you will feel a huge amount of vacuum with the engine running.
Take your time and slowly pour the Seafoam into the hose. it will actually suck it in.
You will get a very impressive smoke plume from the exhaust from all the crap being burned off.
Shut the engine off and let some of the Seafoam that got sucked in sit for awhile, maybe 15 min.
Restart engine and be ready for another smoke plume.
Take the vehicle out and bury the gas pedal a few times.
Should run a lot better and smoother afterwards.

BTW - I did this just before an oil change and new plugs, don't know if thats necessary though.

They have some you can just add to a full tank of gas . I've used it before ( not on the 4R though ) and it worked pretty well and seemed to run smoother. I really don't care about gas so I never checked the milage when I did it.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it IMO. I've only used seafoam on my bike, but it has carbs. I figure it's a good way to wash out the carbs a bit.

I have used it. After I put about 30,000 miles on my 06 V8 4Runner. I noticed smoother idle and that's about all

There is no vacuum like to the brake booster. The brake booster is a nitrogen charged canister that is powered by an electric motor.

so should i just get the deep creep so i can spray the seafoam into the intake manifold? i want to get the seafoam in evenly.
