Seafoam ???

When I remove the PCV valve, do I pour the seafoam in that opening and then it gets sucked up through the PCV valve into the engine upon startup? Please excuse my ignorance.

What I've seen done is pour about 1/3 pint of Seafoam into a cup then disconnect one of the vacuum lines going into the throttle body and put the end into the cup, so the Seafoam is sucked into the throttle body. Keep it rev'ing while the liquid is sucked in. After done, reconnect vacuum line and go for a drive.

With the engine running pour the seafoam into the end of the vacuum line that runs into the intake manifold. After about half a can is sucked into the manifold shut off the engine and let sit for about 20 min. Then start her back up and let the smoke roll....:biggrin2:

i know this post is old but do you have a picture of where that line is for the v8?
