searching for a/c line - not sure of name

3VZ-E. Searching for the line that sits just under the expansion valve and connects the evaporator to the lines on the other side of the firewall. Help me out if you know the specific part name or, if you have one laying around from your a/c delete let me know. Must be from an r-12 system as the wiring and threads for the low pressure sensor are different after 1992/134a. Thanks.

Just as a FYI as it seems you have gotten a part number but Toyota used r12 refrigerant until sometime in 94, in 95 134a refrigerant was used. The sensor should be the same until the different refrigerant was implemented. Are you converting your system to run 134a? I fixed mine and it is great! Blows 39° from the vents, the guy who charged my system said it was the coldest he has seen a 134a system conversion.

That's good to hear dogojoe96, I've been a bit concerned about the end result. The conversion was going smoothly until I went to replace the expansion valve. One of the 5mm hex bolts was completely stuck. Breaker bar, torch, pb blaster. Nothing worked. Went to drill it out and tore up the threads. I found a replacement so hopefully I'll have cold air before it heats up.

I was able to get mine apart with minimal effort however there was some corrosion that had those hex bolts on there pretty good. I have been told that I could have still used the r12 expansion valve but by the time I found that out I already had the one for 134a in and my dash put together. If your are that far into the dash I'd suggest doing a new heater core, most of the work is already done to get to the evaporator core and is soooo worth it to have good heat.
