Yeah I see the software and the cable, but does the Techstream software require a subscription to TIS, or not? It isn't clear to me from reading what I can find.

Carista at least is straightforward, I understand what is involved. Buy the doodad and the app, use it, and either get a refund or just pay the $40 for a year.

Bye-bye seat belt chime. Dumbest feature ever.

Carista was a easy $20 spent. First 4Runner mod! Turned off seatbelt nanny, adjusted window settings, and got rid of the ECO meter. Super easy to use, I cant reccomend it enough.
