seat belt?

i was wondering if there was a way to tighten the driver seatbelt on my 1996 Tr4

I'm not sure what you mean by tightening it. I'm thinking you might mean that it doesn't retract very well, and that's a common feature on Toyota products. I think you can take apart the retractor mechanism and clean it and replace the spring inside.

yeah sorry i didnt explane enough.. i knew what i was saying in my head but didnt put it down on here... thats exactly what i am saying, i want the seatbelt to retract stronger.

does anyone know if i can tighten it up?

You have 12 years of dog hair and dust impeding retraction! Take it apart, cleane it and spray some silicon spray on moving parts. You might be able to swap it with the one on the other side too.
