Seat Bottom Covered Under Ext. Warranty?

Gents-Hello!

If you take your hands and pull on my driver's side bottom seat cushion it moves like crazy. It's an '05 Sport.

I guess the seat rails (per TSB) needs to be replaced.

Does the Platinum warranty cover this? Anybody had this done under the extended warranty?

Is it the entire seat bottom or just the thigh bolster? It may not be the rails but the bolster adjustment mechanism connected to the knob. Search for threads about loose seats. I didn't let the stealer touch it because there was no fix at the time. They came out with a replacement seat frame part number and other TSB after I was out of warranty. No one could ever clarify if this was an actual fix so I stuck with my "fix". Check the link in my signature.

Thanks for the reply. It is the actual seat bottom. You can lift it up an easy 1/8" or more and "shake it". It doesn't shake from the anchor bolts, but appears to be under the seat. I am assuming it's the rails. It's not as bad when you sit on it, under the right conditions you can feel it shift under you.

Any body had this fixed under the Platinum Extended Warranty?
