The cleaning of car seats is, at first glance, a completely uncomplicated process. However, it turns out that the seats must first be dismantled, then clean all their surfaces, for example, with a soapy solution, and then proceed to clean with special agents. If a non-professional takes on the job, he will have to spend several hours. For this reason, cars are sent to dry cleaning. It is faster and, in some cases, cheaper. I tried a couple of times to clean it myself but concluded that it's better to give the professionals from emop and they will do much better. But it's an amazing experience, and you should definitely give it a try.

I'm looking to "deep clean" my seats, mostly the cusions, and was wondering

1. Spot Clean, and if so, what method?

2. Remove seat covers and throw them in the wash (or dishwasher)

What have you all done?

I've seen a few youtube videos that look easy, but it never really is lol

Today I have an ‘18 SR5, but before that I had an ‘02 Tacoma TRD, likely the very same seats.

What I did was simply take my upright Hoover carpet shampooer with upholstery kit and go at the carpets, seats and dash mat annually. Worked just fine. The few times I got a small stain, I’d just use one of the canned carpet shampoo products and a wet washrag.
