Seat cover recommendations? (2021 TRD Off Road Premium) ...

A new leased 2021 Off Road Premium coming in a couple weeks. When I get a new car I really like to grab seat covers for the front to keep it nice for a few years. Occasional crumbs, sub bleaching, husky hair, etc.

I don't need/want the most expensive or fanciest seat covers. Just want something not too expensive that will keep the front seats pristine for a while.

What do you guys recommend? (and if they're available on Amazon, even better)

Seats on the ORP are softex, which is vinyl based and as far as I've read here, are quite durable and stain resistant, easy to wipe down etc.

You might want to try without covers for a few days to see if they're actually required.

As others have mentioned, the seat material on premium trims is pretty durable and will hold up just fine if you take care of it.

I like to take care of my vehicles as well so I typically just spray down my interior with Chemical Guys total interior cleaner and protectant. When I use it, I don't notice any residue and I spray it on almost everything. It's fine to use on vinyl, but I would suggest using a microfiber towel.

I don't think your comment about "pays for fake..." is really helpful here. As a 2017 TRD Pro owner, I have covered my seats with Coverking Cordura Ballistic in Typhoon pattern. Why would I pay for "fake premium" and then cover it?

1. I pass on my vehicles to my kids - they are not spoiled they earned it (2 in med school, 1 in phys. assist. school).
2. Cats - yep, I haul around Harley and Remy.. two big ol male Ragdoll cats.
3. My fat butt wears the front seat a bit, figure kids would rather have a new looking interior
4. I like the typhoon pattern on the black interior of the Super White Pro

I bought this for my backseats. I have 2 child seats in the back so I wanted some extra protection. Also got seat back protectors for the front (damn kids and their kicking, lol). I don't normally get covers for the front seats I'm not as worried about them as the back.

Look into Wet Okole seat covers. They are out of Hawaii and they are really high quality neoprene covers. I am looking at getting a set for my GX470.

Seriously though, how about the Carhartt custom covers? The grey color looks like it would go well with our interiors.

DO we have airbags in the seats? On the sides close to the doors? My wifes car has them, so i had to be careful putting baby seat stuff attached to the front seats.

I am about to cover the "leather" in my Limited. Preserve it... When I need, I can simply take off the covers.

Why? Because I am not alone in the vehicle and will have dogs with me and such.

We all can't be slaves to our rides.
Plus, no matter what, "leather" seats get nasty in some way, shape, or form, no matter HOW good you care for them.

If you buy them, make sure you mention in an e-mail you want guaranteed snug fitment and return shipping on their dime.
I personally tried WO's twice and they looked like Walmart garbage.
I sent the first set back, they sent another, sent that back and went with Carhartt covers in a "working" X-Runner.

I used GT covers on my 04 Tacoma, washed them about every 2 years, seats looked basically new when I sold the truck in 2019.
