seat cover suggestions

looking for some suggestions/opinions on aftermarket seat covers. im on a budget so cant afford the expensive top of the line covers i see out there but would like to know what are some good quality decent priced covers. prefer black or black/grey to match a sport interior.

I ended up going with the "Coverking Tactical Seat Covers" through Costco for both my 4runner and Tacoma. They offered them in Black or a Silver/Grey. Overall I like them. After a year of wear and tear they still look good and are doing their job of protecting the seats. They can be a bit hot in the summer on long rides as they don't permit much air to move. The molle on the back seamed like a good idea at the time but is nearly useless for me in the 4runner since I often flip the back seat up and down. The bags just get in the way. I would order the similar heavy duty ballistic ones that cost less instead. (Coverking Cordura Ballistic Custom-Fit Seat Covers) Ordering via Costco was different to say the least and I did run into some issues with one of the 2 sets which while it took some time Costco did everything they could to make it right. They succeeded in the end.

They were more expensive than what I wanted to pay but fit much better than the universal ones that I could get locally.

I had a set that slipped over the softek that was just to protect from water from wet clothes. They were a cabalas brand for a 3rd gen and worked well. Put them on and off as needed in both my 3rd gen and now 2nd 5th gen. Very inexpensive and super easy to just throw on. They slipped around a log but was exactly what I wanted. After many years they’re worn out and I need a new set. Got my money’s worth for sure.

Got these from Costco 2 years ago. Have held up well. $30-$35 if I remember correctly.

thanks for teh pics on those covers. any others have some pics/info on covers they use?

also, i have a 2008 4runner with side air bags... do they need a special air bag compatible cover? that may change what covers i can use.

I as lucky enough to only need a portion of the bottom seat cover redone, as well as some new foam. I was lucky enough to not need more work done... :clap2:
