seat height ?

Do all of the 3rd gen cloth seats sit at the same height? The '01 limited w/ cloth seemed to sit a bit lower to the floor, I had a tiny bit of room between the top of me head and the headliner around the sunroof. I looked at a '00 SR5 tonight, it has nice cloth seats but they seem to sit higher, my head was just about touching the headliner.

I know about the knob that adjusts the fore/aft tilt of the seat bottom and it adjusted to be comfortable, there's just no up and down vertical adjustment that I could see, and I'm 98% sure that the '01 Limited didn't have one.

The '01 Limited should have had power seats- which are more adjustable than the manual.
I have had both, and I think you are correct; I seem to remember my cloth manual seats sat up higher.
I'm not a tall guy(5' 8"), and- even with the need to be able to push the clutch to the floor- I still have my seat slid about 1/2" from max rearward. I do sit pretty "straight up"- not into the early 2000's gangster lean, myself.
Anyway, at 5' 8", I still don't have much headroom at all.

Thanks, and you were right- I had to take a look at a pic to see that I actually had a SR5, not a limited. I looked at a '99 Limited today and the seat height was the same as that '00 SR5 from yesterday- my head was slightly touching the head liner. I know that I had a tiny bit of clearance with the '01. Maybe the seat foams were completely worn out, who knows. This '99 Limited does have power adjusters, I really didn't see any better range of adjustment compared to the SR5 seats, it was just a bit "easier" with the electric motors doing the work.
