Hey im new here trying to get some info on fixing my moms '01 4runner.
Recently she slammer her seatbelt in the door and cut it so she hasnt had a seat belt for a few weeks and i am going to get a new assembly and wanted to know if i remove the assembly will it cause the pretensioner to activate or mess up the airbag system in any way...basically im asking if i should take it to a stealership to fix it. Im a VW guy and thats what would happen to my car if i did that
but then again VWs love to throw engine codes and mess stuff up due to mods (and trust me i have a few).

P.S. not trying to suck up here but 4runners and tundras are probably the only toyotas i could see myself driving:wink2:
