Seatbelt Rattle

Hi all,

I'm looking for suggestions of how to solve an annoying rattle coming from my pillar post (area where the seat belt connects to the side of the vehicle above your shoulder). After a few trips to the dealer the problem is still unresolved. The noise is coming from behind the plastic covers for the pillar post. It only occurs when driving over bumps. My passenger side is perfect--no noise ever.

Anyone experience the same issue? If so, any remedies?

I had the same thing. The noise has lessend, however. So maybe just a couple of hundred miles should take care of it. I honestly did not do one thing, and until recently it bugged the heck out of me.

I want to bump this and see who else might be having this problem, and if there are any experiences or suggestions. I have an '06 sport and I've had this pillar/seatbelt rattle get worse and worse.

Does anyone have any more input or experiences with this? If I have to I'll get in there and find it, but I'd like to hear if anyone else has gone there before.

same thing on the 2005! 50K miles and still haven't gotten rid of it. if anybody has a guide on how to take the pillars off i'd appreciate it.
