Due to an accident, I have a problem with my left hip and am touchy about seats. I test drove a 2011 TE today and found the seats very firm and a little bit of an issue for my hip. There are some potential after-market fixes, but just wondering if the seats soften up a bit with time.
Seats on TE soften up with time?

I don't know if they'll ever soften, but i just purchased Wet Okole seat covers and got my drivers seat with build in warmers. The covers are very nicely padded and the additional heat on the bottom and back is fantastic. I highly recommend them, maybe they would be beneficial to you

I have a 2010 sr5 with the 'premuim' leather seats, and they kill me. There isn't enough padding for me, and after about 20 minutes, my kidneys feel like they are going to explode. I'm going to trade the car once I close on my new house. I thought that I would get used to them, but after a year I still haven't. A word of advice, if they aren't confortable to you now, don't think that they will be down the line.
Take it to a custom car upholstery shop. They can fix that for short dollars.
