Seats Uncomfortable In TE?

Does anyone else find their seats uncomfortable in the TE? I drove around an 2006 Tacoma 4x4 Quad-Cab for 3+ years and the seats were much more comfortable in it.

had an 05 Tacoma. Find the seats in the 4runner much more comfortable.

To me the seats are just like my FJ Cruiser seats and I really like them. Maybe cause I am used to them?

I found mine uncomfortable at first, but I've played with my seating position and have gotten used to it. Feels fine now.

lumbar weirdness notwithstanding, i find them to be comfy. much more so than my '06.
also impressed with how easy it is to clean the fabric.

I had a 2005 Taco TRD Sport Quad Cab. For me, the seats were too low and car-like in that truck (although I did love that truck.)

My TE seats are set to max height and I love it. I'm short, so low seats are not my thing.

I like the seats. I had a Acura Integra GSR Coupe with leather seats where I'm my knees are more straight then bent like the TE and I am a lot more comfortable. I'm 6'1.

same seat but different fabric... the TE seats have a water-resistant DWR type of coating/finish.

Love the water resistant seats...no need for seat covers and no need to worry about getting mud on them.

I have an SR5 but could really use some waterresistant / proof seats. My problem = I hate aftermarket seat covers with a passion. A couple questions...

Does anyone know how much it would be to buy a set of the TE Seat Covers? Is it even worth it?

Has anyone tested how "water resistant" the seats actually are?

How well do aftermarket products such as Scotch-Gard Auto work?
