I replaced my original air filter with a K&N on my 2006 v6 4Runner and noticed a secondary, thin filer that was on the inlet to the engine. I didn't take it off because it seemed like it was permantly press fit into the assembly.
Anyways, should I keep that secondary filter and try replacing it or do you think I can rip it out?
