Seeing your twin

Random post, but does anyone else get a warm/proud/happy feeling when you see another 4R identical to yours? Everytime I see a silver 03-05 I think, damn that looks good!
Looking at them incl your own in pictures just doesnt do it justice.
I still love my rig, and recently we moved to a new office park, and there's one I have passed on the interstate a few times, and realized this morning it parks in the lot next to mine.
So if NC plate "1WOLFPCK" is on the forum, Hi!

One of my friends bought a 4runner, same color, 2 weeks after I bought mine. ANother guy I know bought a silver one last week!

I drive a Titanium V6 SR5 4WD. About 2 months after I got mine, another Titanium V6 SR5 4WD showed up at my office. The only difference is that my "twin" has a Toyota bug guard on it. Another bonus, the driver is SMOKING hot!!! :D

I see a beefier version (V8) of mine every now and then in the morning. Too bad it's driven by a lady who drives like slow poke.

With gas prices going down..I noticed that 4Runners are everywhere. Seldom to see V8 4th Gen Runners months ago..now your twins may just be 3 to 5 cars ahead or behind you..one time my twin passed me..and found out driven by an old lady and I just laugh!!

I almost see to many around like mine. God they are everwhere . The Galactic Gray is popular here. Wish I would have got silver. Love the gray look though , maybe next time.

i have yet to see my twin. almost all 4runners i see here in va are mostly silver, gold, and a few whites. now i do see my cars biger twin a lot. galactic gray 04 land cruiser which belongs to my neighbor!! mine just bows down to it. haha.

In Colorado I do see a fair amount of Jade Highlander models but rarely the black version of the '99s but most still have their running boards but I haven't seen any with the TRD stickers on them or even clear corners.

i personally didnt like seeing a truck exactly like mine, so im glad to now have it modded and definately standing apart. There are more and more 4runners around FL, but 99.98% are totally stock, sadly

Yes, but I don't like when people don't wave back or give strange looks when I admire their truck!

HAHA! There ain't that much nice people on the road anymore. Whenever there's a chance, I have to actually meet and greet other ppl's ride out in the parking lot.

Haven't met my twin yet, but if I do, I sure got a long road to go yet in the mod-department.
I like to focus on unique 'Runner...

There are tons of Runners drivin around in the suburbs north of Atlanta. Just this morning there happen to be a line of 3 4Runners in a row on my way to school, so I proudly joined the line. Kinda odd to think that I came across 3 in a row randomly....

What do you consider a beefier version ?? just because it has a v8 ??

I notice my dealer had quite a few 4R's V6 a week ago , this weekend they got about 10 V8's in. Nice section too.

I have yet to see another 4Runner like mine. With Donahoes, I think mine looks the way a 4Runner should. By comparison, 4Runners with stock suspension seem more like cars.
