I'm asking because I thought of doing the same setup based on your pictures but now I'm concerned about this setup, can you give some insite what "things came up"

There was nothing wrong with the setup, I am going to be selling my vehicle and after talking to the dealer I can get a better trade in if I take everything off. I'm looking at the new Tundra
The only thing I had to do when I installed the tires was trim a little bit off the front mud flaps. Other than that the setup was great, no problems and it looked bad ass. The tires are really nice, I would recommend them to anyone.
