Rockauto has the tundra front strut assembly for 100 buck ea

So it would be 200 for brand new coils and shocks (for the front)
And they have the coil for the lc for 50ea and Monroe shocks for 25ea.

So for $350 I could get a new and unused lift.
Due to the fact that it's new I figure It would yield a solid 3" lift.

So whatcha guys think?

I don't need a diff drop because I'm 2wd.

So the struts come with what shocks? You aren't interested in the progressive TRD coils?

Are you sure the LC coils are that cheap with shipping? I thought in another thread it was determined that shipping was killer.

The Tundra coils need to be the proper TRD coils to get the lift. Also, you will not get 3" of lift from TRDs unless you add a top out spacer. I had the TRDs and they were great.

As far as the "M" brand shocks for the rear. Don't do it! They have very little damping and especially lifted on LC coils, you will have a whale. I had them for a week or so (before I returned them). If the road had a dip or bump on a corner, the 4runner would feel like it wanted to flip. I switched to Bilsteins and the problem was solved.

We looked specifically at LC coils in another thread, the ones that were $50, these maybe others, but they had to be shipped from the UK to the tune of ~$150 or so.

Not worth it.
