sending my truck to yoga class?

I was doing some searching on how to sound deaden my rattling and loud front doors and came accross a couple alternatives to expensive products. The first is using Quick Roof from home depot instead of Dynamat, apparently it's $30 instead of $200 and uses the same aluminum adhesive with rubbarized asphalt and has no odor once installed. Next, some people are using thin, cut up yoga mat on the inside of the door panel to get rid of rattles.

I'm going to try this crazy approach this weekend when I replace my deck and front speakers. The truck is so loud with the exhaust and every panel in the truck rattles like crazy so I'm desparate for some peace and quiet!

I'll post pictures....if it goes well.

i usedquick roof in my ridgeline 4 years ago, it does smell for a while but it does dynamats job just fine.youll need a roller to roll it downand it must be warm while doing it, it will not stick if its cold.here is my sub install treadhttp://www.ridgelineownersclub.com/forums/showthread.php?t=22460no rattles at all

I looked at the roofing material. It was actually more expensive than alternative Dynamat brands like RAAmat and Fatmat.

really? Quick Roof is only $20 for a 25 foot roll.

I wouldnt suggest a roofing material....doesnt work as great. Try audiotechnix
