I have tried searching, however, I cannot seem to find a sensible alternative to the jaos rally style mudflaps.
I am new here, searching for my first 4runner and doing prep work. I come from a rally background though, and in my experience (sideways in the mud) mudflaps go a long way to shortening clean up time, and I also enjoy the JDM / Dakar / surf look. But $500-$600 for a set of mudflaps??? Even my nice Subaru STi mudflaps were like $50 for a set of four.
Anyway, is there an affordable knock-off brand of imitation flexible urethane style mudflap, or a template, or anything that I can make this happen without spending the money I need to save for a water pump and timing belt on a collection of rubber and metal squares? the tie-back feature is also really neat, but there has GOT to be some sort of alternative? Thanks.
