Sensor for driver door being open?

So after locking myself out of my T4R twice I was wondering where the sensor is for the driver door being open. If I remember correctly if the drive door is open, and you start the car, the auto-locks shouldn't lock. I also noticed my dome light isn't turning on when I open the driver door as well.

Any thoughts?

Dunno if this is your problem, but here's a door jamb switch fix info for my 96, easy and free. Lets the truck know when the door is open...

The switch itself is very simple...

It's a black rubber covered switch on the jamb. I just wiggled mine a little and all is good now.

The door jam Switches are available at autozone with lifetime warranty. I've bought two so far.
