Sept 17 Desert run

[MENTION=123332]Drunner97[/MENTION] ...I know better yet ..mount a hose reel up behind your bumper attach your tow strap to it and wind it up on there and pull the end of your tow strap through the hole and attach your d-ring so it won't fall back out the hole. Now it easily accessible for me when I need to get strapped up and not hangin on your window. Nice and neatly stowed away, free'd up space and serves as a useful mod all awhile keeping a factory look.

It just like a rear bumper winch ....except manual wind it up when ur done .... Booom!!!!

That's actually a damned good idea. I'd still have to repair the section to some degree but slapping a rear amber in there would be smart. [MENTION=128841]Spenny[/MENTION] was a lot easier to see and his Amber's are small. I have two flood amber pods sitting in the garage that I wanted to put up front. Convinced I need ditch lights now too.

Love my rear ambers, can take the covers off to flood an area with light too. Don't like how big they are though, would rather some single row pods instead. Actually all of my lights need a re-work - some ditch lights would be key just don't like the way the ditch lights look on the 5th gen.

Actually now that I think about it, i should move the rear lights which are floods to the front and the front spots to the rear as my ambers.

First time long time.

Initially, I thought Miah was going to point me to the nearest stripe mall where I can get a Camel Frappuccino, at Starbucks, for the girls then do some lite shopping, kick some tumble weed and call it a night. That was far from the actual event.

Like most that have chimed in before me, this was an adventure to tell your children’s over a campfire or when you get stuck and trying to reassure them that you’ve done this before and will get them home in one piece.

The trail really tested my butt clenching abilities as well as my rig. On some trails, there were very little room for error, one wrong turn and you’re off the cliff. I’m amazed at what my rig can do given my willingness to push it and let it do its thing. I was concerned but very surprise that the girls weren’t too freaked out. In the end, they had fun, were really tired, but we all made it home safe.

I truly believe that without a skillful group of guys, we would have not made it home that same day. I have confidence that we will make it home every time and very excited to meet the next challenge.

Also, that low flying fighter jet that flew by us while in the wash was icing on the cake.

It's long... I just clipped a lot of sections together it was to hard to choose so I just let it run and think this trip deserves it. I was only allowed to pick one song for the video so it continuously loops it's the best suited one after the countless number of songs I tried, lol. I have all the individual clips saved that formed this video. If there's a certain part you want just let me know and I will email it to you.
