Hey all, Indy4Runner is the winner of the September 2007 T4R of the Month award - of course it doesn't belong to Indy but my thanks go out to him for taking the time to send us these pics of armored T4Rs. Click HERE to see all the past T4ROTM winners.

Back Seat Window

View from the back seat. Here you can see the transparent armor that protects the occupants from an explosion from the rear.

Very nice pics!! Thanks for posting them!

Be safe over there...thanks for defending our country!:gun:

Driver's Window

Check out how thick the window is. This transparent armor is so heavy that the windows do not roll down which, I hear, is a real PITA if (when) the A/C goes out.

My Brother in Arms, stay safe. The T4R I just purchased was owned by a Marine (1 owner) not sure what he was thinkin when he traded it in on a Dodge 1500) and it was nice knowing it had been meticulously taken care of.

Thanks guys, glad you enjoyed the pics. My intent wasn't to draw attention to myself, I just wanted to show how awesome these trucks are. I'm so impressed with 4Runners and there's hardly a week that goes by that my wife doesn't send me an e-mail saying how much she loves driving her truck. I've said it before but damn, I feel soooo much smarter for having bought one of these trucks!

Any special provision with the tires?

Good question. I have no idea though. Not sure what the max load for those tires are but I'm sure that they have to be in excess of the rating or very close to it.
