Anyone wanna hit up some [easy] trails this Sunday? I don't think I'll make it to Pismo because I have to shoot an event Saturday. I wanna get some sweet photos of my rig with its recent facelift :cool:

damn, wish i could. the wife and i are tilling up the backyard and i've been putting it off for two weeks now. last weekend we didn't do it because i bought my 4runner! i won the battle but not the war.

Cleghorn to pilot rock big bear is a nice run.
 
Sounds fun, but I haven't purchased any equipment yet, other than an air compressor, so I'm hesitant to go on any non-structured trips because I don't want to get stuck and make others wait around. Or worse, get abandoned like in Top Gear.

Maybe I'll go on a few more off-roading classes so I can get a better feel for what I'm doing and what basic equipment I'll need before I hit the trails.

With the SoCal group you will never be left behind. And no one will complain about waiting while someone learn. My first few trips I was a bone stock trail. You have an added 1.5 lift compared to my first time out. You will quickly learn how incredibly capable your rig is. We also have great spotters that will teach you the right lines.

[MENTION=143905]sfvtrdpro[/MENTION] cleghorn and pilot rock are great learning grounds. I have never seen anyone get stuck in the over a dozen times I have run that trail. I have taken many stock t4r's though the hard sections without any problems. Go out and have some fun.

Yes yes i did...lol its cool to go stock and learn with people. You will appreciate the changes more and like they all said, you will learn how much that "SUV" can really do

I was joking about being left behind.

They always made a big deal on Top Gear about being left behind when they had a caravan of Range Rovers full of mechanics to fix the cars.

This was my first run with a 2wd & 3/2 lift. What's great about this trail especially cleghorn is there's a main trail with off shoot of harder trail to test your rig. You don't have to worry about getting stuck especially with the socal group. I never worry about going anywhere and feeling unsafe with this group. Best classroom is the experience of going offroading, knowing and testing your rig. Go have fun!!!
 
Sounds like a good time with a good group. Cant wait to get out with you folks when i get better tires.
 
I'm down for something close by, I can't be too far away from home right now. I have things on Saturday so I can't go to pismo.

I'm new to the forum and new to wheeling. If you guys don't mind bringing a newbie. I'm down for a run. I'm in North OC and willing to get out anywhere. I got a stock TEP w/AT tires.
