Just a heads up people...Any word on this event?.. I do not see much response on here (T4R.org) or the FaceBook page... For some who would like some clarity as The Cove's web page says they charge $30/day per person to ride.. not per machine...I did speak to Daniel (one of the owners) and he did confirm it is $30 per person to ride. There is a minimum 2 day cost to camp which is $20/day per person and if you want to shoot it will be an additional $10 per person. We are not listed as an event as we typically have around 30 vehicles there. Daniel did recognize that we were scheduled to camp at lot 2. He said if anyone has questions to just call him, the # is listed on their webpage.
Camp 2 is the normal camp for the event, there is quite a bit of space there; as I learned last year there are plenty of people who come to the event who do not respond to either this post or on FB (or who aren't on either platform).
There was absolutely a per person per day fee for both camping and trail riding.

Man I wish I knew about this event sooner...I just picked up my first T4R last week and the wife and I have been looking for things like this to do! Maybe next year.

My experience (first year being able to make it)
The good:
I had a nice trip.
Was cold at night, but dry!
Was with some awesome people.
Camp site was great for the group we had.
Had a great trail guide.
good food!
I did get a video, I will attempt to get it uploaded later today.
The bad:
Sadly these rates they quoted you were no where near what some of us were charged or attempted to be charged. I was charged $25 per night. I know others didn't show due to being charged $140 for the day.
Once the rifle range is hot, a large sections of trails will be unusable.
Perhaps look at a different location for next year?

The price gouging was idiocy.... we believe the brother whom we did not converse with about prices, was manning the office when some folks checked in. It's sad really, but I do not want members to experience that again. It was utter BS for sure.
We are looking at a different location for 2020. We were *hoping* to get out and check out a new place this spring, however that is currently not feasible. I still hope to be able to have the fall event this year, but we will see. Please make sure you keep up with the FB page as well.
