Sequia Rims Vs Stock 6 Spoke

Hey guys, so i just put in my lift, and my 32's look too small and ive ordered a set of 33" duratracs. However my stock rims are so corroded that they leak at the bead so they will be going as well. I like a wide stance on my truck so im wondering what the offset is on the sequia rims rather than the stock 6 spoke. Is it the same or do they stick out more?

They sit in closer, so you'll rub on your upper control arm. Only way to run the 33" duratracs on that rim is if you have spacers, at least in the front.

Also, if you're talking about the 17" wheels (5 split spoke), you will have to make sure your order is for the 17" and not the 16" 6 spoke.

which sequoia rims? there are several ones, I like them too. and thinking about them too. the 17's will let me have more room for a tundra calipers.

Just make sure, if you get a 16" rim, to get a Sequoia/Tundra wheel past 2003.

The 231mm Tundra brake upgrade will not fit in the 16" wheels before that time. Any 17 will work, but for the 16", you can only choose those when the Tundra/Sequoia came with the larger brakes after 03.

yes i know that if i go 17 there is no problem. that is why I am interested. I thought the Seq. 17s were similar to the stock ones as back spacing and such. I know the FJC rims are about an 1/8th inwarm more, but still do able as long as you dont get a bigger tire. where the Sequ. you can get bigger tires like 285

I am pretty sure the backspacing for the FJ wheels, tacoma wheels, sequoia wheels, tundra wheels, and 4th+5th gen 4Runner wheels are similar.

The Sequoia wheels have a much higher offset than the 4Runner wheels- so if a wide stance is what you want, pick a different wheel.

I have the Sequoia wheels with 1.25" spacers and they sit just about flush with the Sport flares...so basically like stock.

damn...I want bigger spacers now...

I am running 285/75/16 duratracs and they won't fit without spacers! They're literally sit on the upper control arm and can't be driven on if mounted without spacers. Get 1.25'' and you'll be good. There were a couple guys in the classifieds who were selling 4-runner wheels. Check that and craigslist if you decide to steer clear of sequoia wheels. By the way- 4wheelparts.com is having a major sale on Goodyear Duratracs!

I like the FJ wheels, and will deal with staying with 265's. cause I dont really want to do spacers. and
I am ok with that. if I dont like them I can always sell them later.

I alwasy thought the seq. wheels brought out the wheels better than said.

T100are cool too.
but for $200 + shipping FJC wheels that are already powder coated is ok with me.

As long as you're lifted at least 3" and have 3rd gen 4Runner rims, not 4th or 5th, you can clean 33"s without wheel spacers.
