many thanks for the pics! my mind is made up and I will be purchasing my rims this weekend. now I hope to score on the gunmetal ones or I will be doing some powder coating.

JustanotherT4R,

would your tires be rubbing without the spacers?

I just installed the daystar lift, and have the sequoia rims...I'm trying to figure out if I'll need to buy new rims...if larger tires on the sequoia wheels will rub my UCA's...BTW I have a '97 runner.

Thanks for the info.

Aloha!

Sloan - 1.5" front and 2" rear will even the rear with the front. Since the front stick out more i rather have it even or the rear a little wider then the front.

uluafishing - I am runnig 305 (width) and its an inch away from the UCA. If you do go with anything bigger then 265 in width it might rub.

What size tires are you using with the wheels? stock Sequoia tire size? if you are then I wouldnt worry as it will fit just fine.

JustanotherT4R,

I'm currently running 265 70's on my sequoia wheels. Bummer, I was thinking of installing the 305's, but if they're going to rub (without spacers) I'll buy a new set of wheels while I'm at it.

Aloha!

I would take them off your hand if you were local. You're not coming up to SLC anytime soon, are you? :D

Not calling you a liar, but would like a rationale if you don't mind. I have recently lifted my 4Runner using the OME 3" from Toytec. What I have noticed is that the rears, being a solid axle, simply just sit lower under the body than before. The fronts however, being IFS, sit lower and also farther in (using the lower control arm as a pivot to bring the wheels in more) if that makes sense? I can see why it makes sense in my head but have trouble describing it. Regardless, my rears sit about even with my limited flares and my fronts are still about 1" shy of the flares...

trd_4runnin - I am not meassuring it with the flares. I was talking about more of the wheel base (wider stance). I think it looks funny when trucks are lifted, and the front end is wider then the rear. I know if your off roading you would want that, but my runner is a Tahoe/Street Queen.

So you are saying that the 4Runner has a wider wheel base in the front?? I have never noticed that on my, or any other 4Runner.
