Serpentine belts squeal

So... 125k miles and I replaced the belt first with a Brando brand from Amazon that literally split down the middle a month later and next with a Napa belt that a month later squeals every time i start the car.

Has anyone had any luck with non OEM belts? Hate to shell out $80 for a toyota belt - but not seeing any other option here.

2005 4runner btw. So it's not the 2003 TSB

Yep. If the belt is new, it's a bearing somewhere. Idler or tension

I hit the belt with some conditioner (wd40) and the sound went away. I guess I should hit the idler before I turn it on one morning and then the tensioner and see which one quiets down.

or should I just replace both? 145k miles now

Replace both. The bearings are the same age. The parts are not that bad, might as well do both whole you're in there.
