Server busy?

Same here. I've also noticed it takes a long time for pages to load (I have upgraded FIOS pkg). Maybe it is time to find a new host or upgrade the server? Maybe start having tier'd memberships? Shoot, I would donate $5-10 right now for a faster site. :)
 
Very slow, multi second waits between clicks and new pages. Cleanse the database, unload the server, or fix the router issues please.
 
Same issue here. Most of the time I can't even get through. Been getting the "Server too busy, try again later" about 40% of the time as well.
 
Major issues again tonight. I know this isn't just my computer, it happens on my phone AND at work.

VERY slow. Opened 3 threads, got the "Server is busy" message on all of them. Then tried to reply to a thread that finally opened, got the "Server too busy" message again and it erased my reply. :boom:
 
Same, tried to open new posts, came back with a server error screen after trying to load for about two minutes. This site is the slowest loading forum that I'm a member of.
 
have you thought of switching to Nginx or using varnish to speed things up?

I've also noticed each page takes 5-6 seconds to load... let me know if i can help!
 
Any updates? It's been agonizingly slow for me this evening. I'm on a 125Mbps connection so I don't think it's anything on my end. It was better for a while and now it's crawling much more often again.
 
The forum seems to be like this all the time to me. I've had it time out numerous times tonight. Pages are soooooo slow to load.
 
Much better! I came to this section to complain about the slowness, then found this thread :)

Thanks for upgrading! The "What did you do to you 3rd gen today?" thread used to take forever to load.
