I just bought an 01' SR5 from the local dealership, and at the time of the purchase they assured me it was a certified pre-owned vehicle, and they just needed to reset the sensors in order to get the service lights to go off, specifically, the VSC Trac, Trac Off, Brake, and ABS lights.
So after working on it for a week and a half, thinking they had fixed it, they gave it to me. By the end of the weekend, the lights were back on. They worked on it for another 2 days, thought they had fixed it again, and now the lights come on after any abrupt stop. When the lights come on, the ABS stops working.
Anyone have any idea what the deal is with this? Other than the lights it's fine. I know absolutely nothing about cars, and they told me they replaced the "brain box" and that didn't fix it. Any ideas?
