The free downloadable factory service manual in the stickies in this forum is for a 2010, but will be essentially the same for all 5th gen 4runners.

If you google "4Runner Owners Manual" you will see the options. They are all free. You can download the owners manual, entune guide, quick start guide, and service manual. All free.

And all come with the truck. The service manual "the how to take your 4runner apart piece by piece, including part numbers and torque spec book that the techs use in the service department" book.

I think he was referring to googling Owner's Manual, which everyone already has because they come with the truck, and implying the Service Manual, which tells you how to do everything and isn't easily available online, would not show up just by googling Owner's Manual.

Because you never ordered the SERVICE MANUAL from the dealer. It's not something they give away, if they spend time and money training their techs how to read... It. Normally I order one when I get a new car, but the prices for the 4runner are insane. Guess it costs a lot of money to translate and print it these days.

If I get a subscription can I print the whole manual at once or do I have to print one page at a time?
Not one page a time, but a section at a time. It’s really designed to be used electronically.
