Setting 4 High during winter months?

SR5 being Part Time 4WD, I've read that it cannot be left engaged on dry pavement. I planned to use 4 high during the winter months here in Canada, particularly when the road is covered with snow and slippery.

Thanks for your feedback gentlemen...

Assuming you have a 4th gen, when in 4H, it is acually AWD. If you then lock the center diff, it is now in 4WD. You should be OK leaving it in AWD full time.

Mine will be 5th gen. I will have it by next week (I assumed 4th and 5th gen are the same in this regard). I will have to ask the dealership tomorrow and find out what is Toyota's official take on this.

Thanks for your input.
