SF Bay Area for Rear Springs Upgrade; Suggestions??

I still have the stock rear springs on my completely stock 2nd Gen 4Runner. They sag with any substantial weight; can anyone recommend a set of springs to replace my factory deficient springs and a place that could install them.

I've went to 4 Wheel Parts once asking about a lift kit installation. They were very happy to do that kind of work until the salesman asked me what kind of vehicle I had. Apparently they only want to work on brand new Hummers, Rubicons and the like.

Half your question:

I wouldn't recommend Moog. I had them installed for a few months and they didn't seem to lift the back end up too much. Maybe took an inch of the sag. I then installed a ball joint spacer in the front and also wanted to install poly spacers in the back but the Moog springs didn't want to play nice with the spring spacers. Had to revert back to stock springs to use the spacers. Doesn't quite sit level still.

I'm going old man emu (9100's?) as soon as I get the money and will have the spacers available. Moog springs available right now if interested.

No shop recommendations sorry. I just quit my job last week or I would have offered.

Zeroed in on OME 2900 or 2901

But which one?

2900 is rated from 0 lbs. to GVW.
2901 is rated 330 lbs. Constant Load.

Does anybody know what those ratings mean?

The 2901 is heavier duty. Means you plan to have 330 extra lbs frequently. Some guys who have heavy bumpers or carry gear a lot go with those. From what I understand, either will give about the same "lift" 2901 is just a stiffer spring

I live in San Jose, I'll do the replacements if you bring the parts. I bet if I charged you half of what any shop quoted we'd both do pretty well.

What year is your yota and struts should probably be done the same time, could save some money on install and put it towards some better parts.
