A couple more items arrived!
I got a brand new OEM foglight switch that I'm hoping I can wire up with my PIAA's. The popular option on here seems to be the OEM rocker switch, but for whatever reason I like the idea of the push-button fog switch, so that's what I picked up.
***On a side note- is there a wiring diagram posted anywhere for the connections on the back of these OEM switches? I did a bunch of searching, and couldn't find anything on here or Yotatech.
After doing some research on here (Thanks everyone!) I decided to order some new interior LED's from VLEDS.com.
I decided to start with replacing the front map lights, and the two overhead dome lights. A lot of the posts that I saw had the LED board conversion kit, but I didn't want anything crazy bright, just a little brighter and crisper then stock.
I went with the 5K white 3-led bulbs for the dome lights, (Part: 5K WHITE 1.5W 3 LED HIGH POWER UNIVERSAL DOME LIGHT BULB 31-36MM ADJUSTABLE 3175 DE3175).
For the reading lights, I had the idea to try red bulbs, so that they wouldn't be too blinding in the dark while driving. The map lights came in a pair: (RED 6 LED CANBUS PROOF LED LIGHT BULBS BA9S 57 1895 | 1 PAIR).
New versus Old map lights:
Here's the stock map light:
And the new red LED map light:
I like the look of the red light, and I think it will be nice not to ruin my vision in the dark, but they are substantially weaker then I was expecting, and I would have liked them to be a little brighter.
I decided to install the red LED in the driver side map light, and keep the stock white bulb on the passenger side, so that I have both options while driving at night.
Stock front dome light:
Both stock dome lights:
New LED front dome light:
Both new LED dome lights:
Overall, I'm very happy with the new dome lights. They are substantially brighter than stock, but not obnoxiously bright, and the 5K color is a nice bright white, not blueish.
I'm pleased with VLEDS, and I'll be ordering some license plate bulbs from them next.
