HI. New to this forum, which looks great. Here's the problem. 2000 4runner limited 3.4.
Check light indicated bad throttle sensor. Changed it yesterday. Now I get a shaking when i accelerate, starts at around 20-30mph/2000rpm. Its a shaking like the balance is off. Shaking stops when i let off gas. But then it sounds like the engine is revving but the rpm looks normal. revving stops when i come to a stop. Pick up and shifting seems normal. Only indications are the shaking when accel. and the revving sound when i take my foot off the gas. I'm having the cluch fan and water pump and plugs checked later today. Any help would be great. I'll post the fix if i find it. Thanks for the help.
