Hello all,
MY nephew Nolan Culver is up for a local tv sports award, its a shot at repeating. The award, is simply a gold spray-painted hockey puck, on a wood base with his name, the year and Weekend Warrior of the Year on it.
About Nolan...Nolan is advancing from HS hockey to one of the following leagues USHL, NAHL (Amarillo Texas) or the EJHL (NH Monarchs) he has several colleges on the hook and is a potential NHL entry draft, all will be settled soon for this.
But for now as he winds up HS and seeing that he missed out on player of the year by one vote (voted on by media, coaches, and past winners)
I though I do what I could help secure this award for him. His HS is smaller in size avg class high 100's. The other boys are at schools with avg classes (all boys private schools) are mid 300's or better. ITs an uphill battle in sports and for these voted awards when they get their student bodies fired up...lol
