Sharpie rear spoiler

So I got a little bored over the weekend and decided to "sharpie" my rear hatch spoiler instead of just repainted it with black spray paint. Did it in about 2 hours and I think it matches pretty decend with the factory silver paint.

wow.. my mind is not that creative and I'm too impatient. Kudos to you. Reminds me of the guy that did his whole hood like this. Hope you clear coated it. Looks great.

X2. Instantly remembered that hood when I saw this. I think I like the idea of this better. More subtle than the hood.

Good work.

i wanna do that but i dont have the artistic talent to do it, maybe i could ship you my spoiler and some design ideas, and a silver sharpie and you could make some money haha

From one artist to another, that's sick...

#2 Pencil... I wonder what I could bust out with a sharpie on my spoiler....hmmmm? :pimp:

wow, just got back from the Mav's game and didn't i didn't realize it would be that big of a hit. To answer most people's question, no I did not clear it. The sharpie seems to hold up very well so far. Only time will tell, but hey if it fades/washes away after a few months then it'll be time for a new design to be redrawn onto it.

I've actually thought about that for a little extra cash on the side. I don't know how much of a profit I could actually make and being that it's only been a few days since i've had it mounted back up, i'm not sure how long it will hold up. From seeing other "sharpie" art on vehicles that have lasted months to years i would imagine it would stay on for a while.
