I know it's a little late to post this, but a group of guys from toyota120.com are going to the annual Shaver Lake trip from Aug 12-14. So far we have about 10 trucks committed, feel free to come with us! I'm not very active on this forum so forgive me if it's against forum rules to post outside links:

Experience not necessary at all. There's a few different trails ranging from beginner to very hard, we usually split up into different groups, and you can pick which trail to go on.

Friday we'll probably have a few guys running a trail, depends who shows up that early. If you make it by Friday night you should be fine. We usually head out pretty early on Saturday morning to start hitting up trails, around 9 or 10, then make it back to camp before dark to start the potluck. Most people want to leave Sunday morning but there's occasionally a couple stragglers who run a quick and easy trail before heading home.
I'll be there around noon on Thursday, I'm hoping to hit some trails on Friday with whoever else shows up that early, otherwise I'll just go fishing and exploring with my girlfriend.
