She's Home!!!

Hello all!

After a couple of months in waiting we finally got the call that she was ready for pickup. Headed from Albuquerque to Durango this morning to finalize everything and we are thrilled! 22 ORP in Army Green with KDSS, multi-terrain monitor, and sunroof.

We traded in our 19 Tacoma TRD-OR and, while it was very sad to see the truck go, we are very excited for the 4Runner. Can't wait to spend some more time behind the wheel and learn more features. Oh, and to remove the mud flaps haha.

Thank you! They were getting blasted with snow when I was leaving town around 1030. The forecast wasn't showing snow until later but it shows up when it wants I suppose.

i live in the east mountains and the wind speeds have been as high as 55 mph today, just wondering what the drive home was like.

Ah ok! I think our office has an install crew out that way today. The winds were a little wild outside Bloomfield but nothing major. Today has been interesting on the roads for sure.

Bad quality shot but here she is today with full ceramic tint, new valance, and badges gone. Loving her so far!

I have extended family that has a cabin in Durango so I am looking forward to checking that area out this summer.

That colour is superb, and I would've jumped at it if available (ended up loving MGM). How does the drive compare with the Tacoma so far?

So far it's miles better than the Tacoma. We loved the Tacoma and they are great trucks but they're built to be affordable off-road vehicles. The fit and finish on the 4R makes it feel like a different company made it. We are also really loving the 4.0 over the 3.5, definitely an upgrade from our perspective.

Wish I could be as happy as you, just picked up my new 2022 and on the thruway home the wheel shimmy / shakes very bad from 58-65/70 ish. And once I looked at it in the daylight it came with a few scratches and what looks to be a bad buff mark? Not happy at all.

Noooooo. I'm assuming you called the dealership ASAP. What have they said about it? That's brutal to hear and I hope they get it corrected quickly. Keep us posted!

Picking it up today we shall see...they apparently buffed and waxed the whole vehicle and 2 wheels were out of balance.
