shhh noise from engine with quick accel

When I do a quick blast with the accelerator I hear a somewhat loud shhhh like a blast of compressed air in the engine block. Under normal acceleration it isn't really noticeable. It's when I hit the gas quick it kinda stutters and then the gas kicks in and when I do it even faster is when I hear the air sound. Thinking maybe fuel filter or injectors, but not really sure. Any ideas?

check your air filter, my truck makes the same noise when it is sucking air.
