So I did somemore digging. And took my truck to several different shops in my town here. The shop I ended up at suggested that my issue was electronic and not the transmission. This is a certified transmission shop since 1959. I settled up with the shop and drove it home after hours. On my way home the check engine light came on. I pulled up to my exit to a stop light. As I pulled away the truck jerked as if I was hit from behind. I had it towed back to the shop of which they dont have weekend hours. I followed the wrecker and dropped it off. I left the lights on by mistake. I went back this afternoon to see if just by chance there wasn't enough transmission fluid. Only to realize that the battery was dead. So I went and got jumper cables and extra fluid. Didn't need the fluid, and the light cleared. I drove it on the expressway and still no light and no funny motions. The truck went through all its gears well. I also drove down a town road, and still no light. I am still planning to take it back into the shop that worked on it, but does the seem weird? The work they did was replacement of the two spring loaded Solenoids. The codes that came back up were P0770, and P0770 P. Does anyone here believe that its actually fixed with the shift Solenoid swap?
