shimmy in braking

whenever i brake around 30mph or less, the truck shakes a bit. it didnt do that when i bought it, but in my lack of finances, it's been going on for awhile now.
i had the alignment checked, and that was okay. i figured the brakes were going and the rotors warped. havent been able to do that yet, but i also noticed the outside edge of the front passenger tire is worn much more than the rest. i dont know if that has anything to do with anything, but i figured i would ask and get some opinions.

thanks!

Old thread but It looks like no one has helped you out. You may want to check tire balance as well as air pressure if you have not done so. Also get a seconed opinion on that alignment.

I'm going through the same thing. Anywhere from 30-50 the truck will wobble a little on the front end when applying the brakes. If I push the pedal very slightly, i can actually feel it in the pedal. I don't drive it too much, so I'm going to wait to do the steering rod recall and get my free alignment, and then bring it home and swap the rotors. I'm also downsizing the rims to factory which should take a bit of weight off.
