Shimmy/wobble/shift when first pressing or first letting off gas.

When I let off of the gas or first press it there is a side shimmy briefly. It's more noticeable the faster your going. Running 60 and letting off the gas fells like the nose falls and shifts sideways a little. Then reapplying the gas the nose raises and shifts back. Nothing feels loose up under it. Suspension is worn out though. I can make the back hit the stops with my knee on the bumper with very little effort. Could that be the cause of it? All the shocks seem pretty worn out. The front will bounce for a min on a good dip in the road. Anyone else experience this? I have a Toytec lift on the way so if nothing else I'll be able to see if it was the suspension once installed.

Yeah you pretty much just described a worn-out suspension. When the struts start to go bad you'll get a lot of front end dip when braking or accelerating.

Basically, the more worn-out parts you replace the better it will ride. This includes tie rods, ball joints and bushings on the sway bar and steering rack.

could be the bushings in the rear links, when you put in the lift you will be able to see them easily. one of my upper rear arms had a bad bushing.

Yea, I will check them. If you put it in AWD mode it doesn't do it or you don't feel it anyways.

i was reading up about passive rear steering, and it accomplished by using softer than normal bushings in the rear suspension, I would notice when i went around a corner, the back axle would almost kickout and the truck would turn faster than normal.

could also be your drive shaft needs greasing. but im not an expert.
