shipping for tires?

anyone know the best way to figure out possible shipping costs for tires? never shipped them before so i'm really not even sure where to start. best places to ship from? or has anyone had experience shipping from CA to the east coast [i'm in western MA] who might know an estimate? they're just 30s but they have rims as well. help? thanks

go to tirerack.com or other tire sites and see what they charge, you will likely pay a little more but get the idea. I would say with 4 tires your gonna be around $125
 
You can go to Fed Ex or UPS or the USPS and see the cost. They have a price estimate and if I had to guess I would assume it would be anywhere from $120-$160 with that distance if they are shipped ground delivery.

These amounts seem right. You might want to do a "pretend order" at Tirerack.cm or Tires Unlimited and see what the quote is for freight from one of those.
 
Go to Discount Tire Direct, there is no shipping and the prices beat the Discount Tire stores. It is just $25 per tire (with TPMS) install at a Discount Tire store and it includes they lifetime spin balancing.

Are you trying to ship tires to another buyer or are you just wanting to figure a company shipping tires to you if you purchase them?
