Rod... not rode, sorry.
I'm in the process of installing my lift (Bilstein 5100's front, rear spacers installed w/ rear bill's on the way). While attempting to disassemble the stock strut, with coil compressed, the flat end at the top of the absorber rod snapped clean off and that damn nut won't budge. Only the flat portion snapped off, there is still 1" + of threaded rod exposed above the nut.
Any suggestions? I'd like to finish this myself but I feel like it may require a stop at the local shop to transfer the coils to the bill's.
