shocks for my 88 daily driver

Hey guys Happy New Year:frog:

Looking for some good advice on a new set of 4 shocks for my 1988 Runner.
The truck is used for daily street use and I have a couple hundred pounds in the back about once a week. The leaf springs have been replaced with a set of HD springs so the truck sits level even with the added weight.
I don't off road the truck at all so I don't need shocks for off road.
My budget is based on quality not price, I wont something good

There is so many shocks to choose from I thought it best to ask you guys about your experience with your choice or what you think would be best for my setup.

i just swapped out my stock '88 factory steel wheels and while the wheels were off i looked at my shocks, too.

i'll be replacing with bilstein shocks all around.

we have them on our 2k 4runner and they've been great.

last year, 2010 - lol, i was looking at a full OME swap but since my '88 is my "toy" and hasn't been off pavement yet i'll just upgrade to bilsteins and call it done!!!

let us know which way you go.

Ive ran the Rancho RS5000s for 5 years and wont run anything else. They ride great in the road and have held up to a lot of wheeling. All for about $60 each

There are a few choices in the Bilsteins they have a standard and a HD. I may go with thr HD.
