My son has a 98 2wd that is in need of new shocks. Will the Bilsteins 5100 work with the 2wd. I used these on another 98 4wd and love them. But will they work on the 2wd as well. Bilstein's web say they will not work, Why? Looking to lift the 4runner a 1-1.5 inches as well. I was thinking running the front shock on first or second notch and a coil spacer in the rear.
